Privacy Policy

Effective and last updated: September 14, 2026

Business600 (“Business600,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through business600.com, how we use and share it, and the choices available to you.

Information We Collect

Information you provide

When you submit the Project Request form, we collect your name and email address, along with any optional information you choose to provide, such as your phone number, website address, requested service, estimated budget, preferred timeline, interest in website care, and project details.

Project requests are stored as private records in the WordPress administrative area and sent to Business600 by email. If you contact us by email, phone, or another method, we may also collect the information included in that communication. Please do not send passwords, payment-card information, Social Security numbers, medical information, or other sensitive personal information through the website or by ordinary email.

Website Future Scan and AI-Assisted Previews

When you use the Website Future Scan, we collect the public website address you submit, the customer goal you select, and technical information needed to process and protect the request. Business600 may retrieve limited publicly available homepage content and imagery. The submitted website address, selected goal, and relevant public content may be processed by third-party providers that support website screenshot capture and AI-assisted analysis and concept generation, including OpenAI. The scan does not require or attempt to access passwords, private account information, or password-protected website areas. Please do not submit private pages, confidential information, or a website you do not own or have authorization to manage.

Website Future Scan results are automated concepts that may be incomplete or inaccurate and are not complete technical, accessibility, security, SEO, or legal audits. Completed concepts may be temporarily cached for up to 24 hours to improve performance and control processing costs. Business600 may use an IP address, a one-way representation of an IP address, or related request information to enforce the limit of up to five preview requests per hour and prevent spam or misuse.

If you choose to email a Rescue Preview to yourself, Business600 collects the email address you provide and uses it to deliver the requested preview summary. When you provide the accompanying consent, Business600 may also contact you concerning the website or service associated with that submission. You are not required to provide an email address to view the on-page preview.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the website, our hosting, security, performance, and analytics services may automatically receive technical information such as your Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, date and time of access, approximate location derived from an IP address, and information about errors, security events, or interactions with the site.

The site may use cookies, pixels, or similar technologies for essential website functions, security, performance, and audience measurement. A short-lived, one-way representation of an IP address may also be used to limit repeated form submissions and reduce spam.

How We Use Information

We may use information to:

  • Respond to questions and project requests;
  • Evaluate project fit, scope, scheduling, and requested services;
  • Communicate about an inquiry or active client project;
  • Provide, maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website;
  • Measure general site usage and understand which content is helpful;
  • Prevent spam, fraud, abuse, and security incidents; and
  • Comply with applicable law and protect our legal rights.

How We Share Information

Business600 does not sell or rent personal information. We may disclose information in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service providers. Information may be processed by companies that support our website and business, such as website hosting, email delivery, security, performance, analytics, and content-delivery providers. They receive information only as reasonably necessary to perform services for us.
  • Legal and safety reasons. We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process, or a valid government request; enforce our agreements; investigate fraud or security concerns; or protect the rights, property, or safety of Business600 or others.
  • Business changes. Information may be transferred as part of a merger, sale, financing, reorganization, or transfer of all or part of the business, subject to appropriate protections.
  • With your direction or consent. We may share information when you ask us to or give us permission.

Cookies, Analytics, and Third-Party Services

The site uses WordPress-related hosting, security, performance, and email-delivery services that may receive technical information about visits and interactions as needed to provide those services. The site also loads fonts provided by Google, which may cause your browser to connect to Google and transmit technical information such as your IP address and browser details.

You can limit many cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect some website features. Business600 does not use project-request information for third-party targeted advertising and does not sell personal information. Because there is no universal standard for browser-based “Do Not Track” signals, the site may not respond to every such signal; however, we will honor legally required privacy requests where applicable.

Payments

The Business600 website does not currently collect or store payment-card information. If a payment is arranged through a third-party payment service, that provider will process payment information under its own privacy policy and terms. This policy will be updated if payment collection is added directly to the website.

Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including responding to inquiries, maintaining project and business records, meeting legal or accounting obligations, resolving disputes, and protecting the website. Retention periods may vary based on the type of information and why it was collected.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No website, email system, storage system, or Internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Please use care when deciding what information to send online.

Your Choices and Privacy Rights

You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information you have provided, or object to certain uses, by emailing info@business600.com. Depending on where you live, applicable law may provide additional rights. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request, and some information may be retained where permitted or required by law.

Nevada residents may submit a verified request concerning covered personal information or a request not to sell covered information. Business600 does not currently sell covered personal information. California residents and residents of other states may have additional rights where applicable, including rights to know, correct, delete, or limit certain uses of personal information. Business600 will not discriminate against anyone for exercising a legally protected privacy right.

Children’s Privacy

The website is intended for business customers and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the site, contact us so we can review and delete it as appropriate.

Third-Party Websites

The website may link to client websites, service providers, or other third-party sites. Business600 does not control those sites, and this Privacy Policy does not cover their privacy practices. Review the privacy policy of any third-party site you visit.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when our website, services, or legal obligations change. The revised policy will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Material changes may also be communicated by an additional notice when appropriate.
